1. i love the scents, sights and sounds of nature... the rippling of grass, the ripe colors of flowers and "weeds", and the scent of the changing of the seasons
2. i can rock out to my ipod and i don't mind who's watching because i am a girl on a mission.
3. i don't have to pay for gas, car insurance, etc.
4. i can splurge while eating sometimes because i know i'm likely to walk it off.
5. i get sun and my body feels good after a walk
6. i can take pictures of the beautiful things i pass and i can get distracted by my thoughts
7. no road rage!
8. i'm not pumping pollutants into the air
